Subscription Cancellation Difficulty Ranking
How many steps does it really take to cancel each service?
Fewer steps means an easier cancellation — and fewer dark patterns.
About this ranking
We compare cancellation flows by the number of clicks needed from a logged-in state. Fewer steps means an easier cancellation. Every entry is re-checked regularly and dated, so you always know how current it is.
What does “steps” mean?
It is the number of clicks or taps needed to finish cancelling, counted from a logged-in state. Fewer steps means an easier cancellation.
What is the difference between Type A and Type B?
With Type A you keep access until your renewal date after cancelling. With Type B access stops immediately, so timing matters more.
How often is this updated?
We re-check the cancellation pages regularly and update the steps when a service changes its flow. Each guide shows the date it was last verified.
